WebI much prefer the Uli Jon Roth era Scorpions over the more popular material. Like you said, most of the material from that early period is guitar driven hard rock/proto-metal. That is much more appealing that the arena-rock sound that developed in the late 70s and drove their more popular songs. I have been able to see Uli live though as well.
